Keep people moving.  Encourage activity and modify the activity they love, so they can participate at some level.  I enjoy getting to know my clients and their interests.  I hope I am able to return them to previous activities and hobbies, and for them to trust in what I provide for them in physical therapy, so they come back to me if the need for physical therapy arises in the future.
