I pride myself in treating the WHOLE patient. My goal is to help my patients to return to their prior level of function, with the understanding that each patient is very different. We must assess and treat each patient tailored to their personal needs and goals. We are blessed to spend more time with our patients than other providers. I feel that we, as physical therapists, not only treat the injured body part but also treat the entire patient to restore full function and prevent injury in the future by giving them the tools needed to stay healthy and active.

Landon Warner, DPT
My approach to physical therapy involves 3 main principles – Listening. Movement. Independence. First and foremost, I value getting to know you – listening to your story, understanding your personal goals, and providing care centered around you. With a movement-based assessment, I focus on determining movement impairments, biomechanical faults, and muscular imbalances to guide a treatment plan catered to your specific needs. As we target optimal recovery, first-class education and communication are paramount; the more you learn, the better equipped you are in protecting your health outside the clinic.

Your goals are my goals. Whatever you are at physical therapy to achieve– whether that’s to decrease pain and get stronger, improve dance or athletic performance, or recover from surgery—I become a team with you and your physical therapist to make those goals a reality. The most important thing to me is to make sure your therapy experience isn’t “cookie cutter.” I will work with you and your PT to help create and guide you through therapy that is customized and individualized to who you are and what you need. I am an educator at heart, so your sessions with me will include information about why you’re doing the exercises you’re doing, and how that will help you achieve your goals.

I believe in creating a positive and fun experience for my patients. I make it a point to teach them something new each session and to educate them on body mechanics, posture, and how to incorporate what they learn in therapy into their daily lives. I believe in motivating my patients to become disciplined and responsible for their own recovery, and to encourage them to keep moving. While exercise is a large part of physical therapy, I like to also focus on functional activities that the patient currently needs to practice in their own environment. Overall, I want to help people feel confident in themselves and to trust the healing process
