Treatment Philosophy:
Your goals are my goals. Whatever you are at physical therapy to achieve– whether that’s to decrease pain and get stronger, improve dance or athletic performance, or recover from surgery—I become a team with you and your physical therapist to make those goals a reality. The most important thing to me is to make sure your therapy experience isn’t “cookie cutter.” I will work with you and your PT to help create and guide you through therapy that is customized and individualized to who you are and what you need. I am an educator at heart, so your sessions with me will include information about why you’re doing the exercises you’re doing, and how that will help you achieve your goals.
Personal Notes:
Prior to becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant and joining LPTSR, Sarah spent over two decades in the field of dance and performing arts. A former professional ballet dancer and Pilates instructor, she utilizes her background in movement training for the rehabilitation and treatment of clinical patients. She has worked in both inpatient post-surgical rehabilitation as well as outpatient orthopedic. A Lincoln native, she and her husband enjoy keeping up with the activities and endeavors of their two grown children, while taking time away whenever they can for travel both in and outside of the U.S. When she’s not at the clinic, Sarah can either be found at a local dance studio still teaching ballet classes or in the kitchen fostering her passion for cooking and baking.
