TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: My philosophy of physical therapy reflects my commitment to a patient-centered, evidence-based approach that values holistic care, education, and collaboration. By focusing on the individual’s unique needs and promoting both recovery and prevention, I aim to enhance functional independence and overall quality of life. My philosophy underscores the transformative potential of physical therapy as both a healing art and a science. I am dedicated to supporting and optimizing your movement possibilities and health potential.
PERSONAL NOTES: I am a proud son of an Army veteran and a graduate of Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. During my years at PSU, I was part of the co-ed cheerleading squad. In 2001 we won the Division 2 UCA National Championship. I then went on to coach Cheerleading at William Jewell College in Kansas City, Missouri. During this this time, I attended multiple Kansas Association Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (KAHPERD) conferences. I became interested in Physical Therapy as a career and discovered its healing potential after a car accident in 2003. This life event led me to enrolling at Texas State University where I received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I am married to my wife, Rebecca, and have two children. I am active as a leader in Boy Scouts and a proud band and gymnastics parent. In our free time, my family loves to explore the magic of our great country’s National Parks, relaxing on the beach, working out, and watching KC Chiefs football.
